How Aires Technology Works — EMF Modulation Explained

The Science Behind Aires

How Aires Technology Works:
EMF Modulation, Not Blocking

Most EMF protection products try to block or absorb electromagnetic radiation. Aires does something fundamentally different — and the distinction matters.

The Core Distinction: Blocking vs. Modulation

The vast majority of products marketed as "EMF protection" operate on one principle: create a barrier. They use metallic shielding, ferrite materials, or absorptive layers to intercept electromagnetic radiation and prevent it from reaching you. This approach has a fundamental problem.

Your phone must communicate with cell towers to work. Your Wi-Fi router must broadcast a signal to serve your devices. The moment you effectively block EMF from a device, you degrade its function — and the device compensates by increasing its transmission power. You end up with more EMF output, not less.

Blocking also does nothing about the EMF that originates from sources you cannot control: neighboring networks, infrastructure, environmental background radiation. The electromagnetic environment we live in is pervasive. A barrier approach treats a symptom in one small area while leaving everything else unchanged.

The Aires Principle Aires technology does not block, absorb, or reflect electromagnetic radiation. It modulates it — converting incoherent, broadband EMF into a coherent, harmonized form. The radiation still passes through. But its structure changes.

The Mechanism: How Coherent Transformation Works

To understand what Aires does, it helps to start with what electromagnetic fields actually are — and why their structure matters to biological systems.

All matter is an electromagnetic structure

Every material object — including every cell in the human body — generates and is sustained by its own electromagnetic field. At the molecular level, chemical bonds are electromagnetic in nature. DNA, proteins, cell membranes: all are structures defined partly by their electromagnetic properties.

A critical feature of these structures is periodicity — the regular, repeating organization of molecular and cellular architecture. Coherent electromagnetic fields (those with spatial and temporal order) interact constructively with periodic biological structures. Incoherent, broadband fields — like those emitted by wireless devices, 5G infrastructure, and other modern electronics — do not.

What "coherent" means

A coherent electromagnetic field has spatial and temporal order — its waves move in a consistent, organized pattern, like soldiers marching in step. An incoherent field is the opposite: its energy is spread across many frequencies and directions simultaneously, with no consistent phase relationship, like a crowd moving in all different directions at once.

Natural electromagnetic radiation — sunlight, for example — arrives at Earth already partially coherent. The EMF emitted by human-made wireless technology is broadband and incoherent by design: spreading energy across frequencies is how devices achieve reliable communication across varying conditions.

The Aires research program, beginning in 1991, examined what happens when biological systems are exposed to incoherent broadband EMF — and what changes when that EMF is coherently transformed before interacting with biological tissue.

The fractal diffraction grating

At the center of every Aires device is a fractal diffraction grating — a precision-engineered silicon microprocessor with a resonant matrix structure based on fractal geometry. This is the core of Patent No. 2312384: Device for Converting Electromagnetic Radiation to a Coherent Form.

When electromagnetic radiation interacts with this matrix, it undergoes what the research describes as coherent transformation: the broadband, incoherent field is restructured into a spatially ordered, self-affine (fractal-coherent) form. The total energy of the field is not reduced. Its organization is changed.

Why fractal geometry? Biological structures — from DNA to vascular networks to neural architecture — are fractal in nature. Fractal geometry allows self-similarity across scales: the same pattern repeats at different magnifications. The Aires diffraction grating exploits this property. Because the resonant matrix is itself fractal, it can achieve resonance with biological structures not only at an exact dimensional match, but across multiple scales simultaneously.

How the transformation happens — step by step

  1. Incoherent EMF arrives. Your phone, router, or nearby 5G antenna emits broadband electromagnetic radiation — energy spread across many frequencies, with no consistent phase relationship. This is the field in its natural, device-generated state.
  2. The resonant matrix intercepts the field. The fractal diffraction grating in the Aires device interacts with this incoming radiation. The matrix is tuned — through its precise geometric structure — to produce a specific resonant response across a broad frequency range.
  3. Coherent transformation occurs. Through the interaction with the resonant matrix, the broadband incoherent field is restructured into a coherent, self-affine form. The radiation continues to propagate — it is not blocked. But its spatial and temporal structure has been ordered.
  4. The transformed field interacts with biological systems. The coherently transformed field interacts with the electromagnetic structures of living tissue through resonance. Because it is ordered and coherent, this interaction is fundamentally different from the interaction of incoherent broadband EMF. The research findings described below document the measurable physiological differences.
Key principle from the research The mechanism depends on the accuracy of resonance conditions, not the intensity of the applied field. This is why Aires devices are passive and require no power source. The transformation is produced by structure, not by energy input.

What the Research Found

The research program behind Aires technology was not conducted by the company. It was carried out over more than three decades by approximately 40 independent research and production institutions — universities, medical research centers, and physics institutes — many of which are named in the published studies. The following is a summary of the major independent findings.

Brain activity and EEG

Multiple independent EEG studies found that exposure to device-emitted EMF produced detectable changes in electroencephalogram parameters. In studies where an Aires device was present during the same EMF exposure, those changes were measurably reduced or normalized.[1][2][3]

The Physics — For Those Who Want More Depth

The theoretical basis for coherent electromagnetic field transformation was developed within the Aires research program beginning in 1991, and has been described in computational and theoretical studies including work by Serov, Korshunov et al. (2018) and subsequent papers including the ICICT 2026 proceedings.

1. Any material body is a complex dynamic electromagnetic field structure. Every physical object generates a field defined by its molecular and atomic structure. This field is the electromagnetic signature of the object's internal periodicity.

2. The coherence of that field determines the quality of the structure's self-organization. Perfect periodicity — as in an ideal crystal — corresponds to maximal coherence of the object's own electromagnetic superposition. Disruptions to periodicity reduce coherence.

3. The most efficient way to support biological structure is through resonant interaction with a coherently transformed version of the object's own field. The research identifies this as more efficient than any approach involving high field intensity, because it works with the existing resonant properties of the biological structure rather than against them.

4. Fractal geometry enables resonance across scales. Because the Aires matrix is fractal, it does not need to be dimensionally matched to a single target frequency. It can achieve resonance with biological structures — themselves fractal — across multiple scale levels simultaneously.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Aires actually block EMF radiation?
No. Aires devices do not block, absorb, or reflect electromagnetic radiation. They modulate it — coherently transforming incoherent broadband EMF into a spatially ordered form. The radiation still passes through; its structure changes. This is a deliberate design choice: blocking EMF from a device causes the device to increase its transmission power, generating more radiation, not less.
Does the device need a battery or power source?
No. The coherent transformation is produced by the geometric structure of the fractal diffraction grating, not by any energy input. The process is entirely passive — the resonant matrix works through its physical interaction with incoming electromagnetic radiation.
What is a fractal diffraction grating?
A diffraction grating is a structure that interacts with waves (light, sound, or electromagnetic radiation) in precise, predictable ways based on its geometry. A fractal diffraction grating uses fractal geometry — self-repeating patterns that look the same at different scales — to achieve resonance across a wide range of frequencies simultaneously. This is the core of Patent No. 2312384 and the physical basis for the Aires resonator's function.
What does "coherent transformation" mean in plain language?
Imagine the EMF from your phone as a crowd moving through a busy intersection — everyone going in different directions at once, no coordination. Coherent transformation is like organizing that crowd into a marching column: the same people, moving with the same total energy, but now in a structured, ordered pattern. The research examined whether biological systems respond differently to the ordered version of the field — and found measurable differences in EEG, heart rate variability, blood, and water structure studies.
Is there peer-reviewed research supporting this technology?
Yes. The research program behind Aires technology spans more than 30 years and involved approximately 40 independent research institutions. Studies have been published in scientific and academic journals, presented at international conferences, and submitted for review as part of the Russian Federation medical device certification process. The complete archive of studies is available in our Research Hub.
Does the device work at 5G frequencies?
Independent laboratory testing confirmed that the Aires resonator produces measurable field modification at millimeter-wave frequencies including 28 GHz — the primary frequency range of 5G millimeter-wave networks. Three sequential resonator configurations were tested, as well as a 64-element 5G array. Results are available in the 5G research cluster.
What is the difference between the Aires Foundation and American Aires Inc.?
The Aires Human Genome Research Foundation (AiresFond.ru) is the original Russian research entity that has conducted and commissioned the scientific research program since 1991. American Aires Inc. (airestech.com) is a separate commercial company that produces and sells consumer products based on the technology developed by the Foundation. The two entities are legally and commercially separate. The research described on this site was conducted by the Foundation and independent institutions — not by the product company.
How is the resonator applied to a device?
Aires products are designed to be worn or placed on the body in proximity to the primary source of EMF exposure — typically affixed to the back of a mobile phone, laptop, or worn on the body. The resonator does not need to be in the path of the radiation to function; the interaction occurs within the field's zone of influence.
