How I Protect My Family and Myself from EMF with Amy Hackamack

I first became aware of EMF back in 2020 when I started really looking into my environment and making healthy changes. My husband was having some health issues and I was determined to do everything I could to help him feel better and improve our health.
Health Risks Linked to EMF
I quickly realized how bombarded we are by EMFs and the potential health issues that can come from the constant exposure.
Some studies suggest that over time this may cause health issues and cell damage. Europe has done some recent studies and the findings are NOT great. In fact, it's estimated there’s over 30,000 studies showing possible harmful effects of EMF…yet we keep wearing our AirPods constantly and remain glued to our screens.
I was surprised to learn that in Europe there are stricter rules and regulations but none exist here in the US. For example, in France Wifi is banned at elementary schools and nurseries because of its negative effects on the developing brain yet In my home state they put up massive Wifi towers in the parking lots of schools!
Finding EMF Protection Tools
Wanting to do what I could do to protect myself and my family, I did some diving into products that could help. Ways to Reduce EMF Exposure
Besides using Aires Tech products here are some other ways I try and reduce EMF exposure:
Keep phones on airplane mode when not in use and especially if I am going to keep my phone on me, like in my pocket.
Turn my WiFi router off at night. (We have ours set to a timer).
Keep our WiFi router out of the bedroom.
Avoid or reduce overuse of Bluetooth headphones and devices. (For example -keeping AirPods in ALL DAY is not something you’ll ever see me do).
Keep phones in a separate room to charge at night-not on our nightstand.
Avoid using a microwave and unplug it if not in use.
Avoid filling our home with smart devices: Alexa, Google Home, smart plugs etc. (we got rid of ours!)
I quit using a smart watch. (Quite freeing actually!)
Avoid making phone calls in the car.
Use the speaker function of the phone rather than putting it up to my ear.
I use EMF blocking blankets if I work with my computer on my lap.
I think one of the benefits of being aware of EMF exposure is that I now naturally use less technology and it’s so freeing! It’s actually much more relaxing to read a real book instead of staring at a screen. It’s nice to listen to the sounds of nature while on a walk or hike instead of blasting music all the time.
Believe it or not, I’m still in good shape and healthy even though I don’t know all my stats by using a smart watch.
It’s allowed me to question “Do I truly need this new tech gadget? Or will it just distract me more and add to my EMF load?”
No Perfection, Just Progress
No one is perfect and of course I still use technology that emits EMF - we can’t avoid it completely in our modern world and that’s okay. That's where useful mitigation tools like Aires Tech come in handy!
My hope is that more will become aware of the potential risks, better regulations can be put in place for safety, and that we can all make the best decisions for ourselves and our families.
