Aires Historical Clinical Research and Original Protocols

Aires’ early development included clinical investigations of patterned applicators, with original protocols and reports preserved in the archive. These records establish the design, materials and outcomes of the historical work.

The original clinical investigations

Investigation Design and measured outcomes Original
Adjunctive surgical care, 2000 Thirty applicator patients and fifteen standard-care controls; pain, edema, treatment duration, thermography and coagulation observations. Surgical protocol and report
Outpatient applicator study, 2000 Thirteen active-device and six plain-film patients; six days of treatment, electropuncture readings and clinical reports. Outpatient report
Fatigue/stress volunteer study, 2000 Sixteen active and five plain-film volunteers; EEG, cognition, mood and blood/rheology measurements over repeated treatment courses. Volunteer study

What the reports describe

The surgical report describes faster pain and edema resolution and shorter treatment in the applicator group alongside standard clinical care. The volunteer report describes later EEG and mood improvements, with cognitive and blood findings varying by test and initial state. The original reports retain the complete results.

Which devices were tested?

These investigations concern historical patterned applicators, including graphite patterns on polyester film. Their protocol and institutional approval records belong to those studies. Device identity and study approval should be read directly from the original cover and methods.

From the early work to later physiology

The later Aires Shield EEG investigation and Aires Defender HRV report examine different devices and endpoints. The human-research guide connects them with Lifetune-era work, and the research device map distinguishes device generations.
