Gennadi N. Lukyanov: From electromagnetic models to infrared measurements

Gennadi N. Lukyanov

Gennadi N. Lukyanov connects the mathematical and experimental sides of Aires resonator research. His publications trace the patterned semiconductor from early field models through laboratory collaborations to the 2026 infrared experiment.

Research credentials and attribution

The original publications identify Lukyanov with ITMO University. The 2018 journal paper lists him as Doctor of Engineering and Professor; the 2026 paper identifies ITMO’s Faculty of Control Systems and Robotics. ITMO’s own reporting also documents his work in sensor technologies. ITMO report on Lukyanov’s sensor research.

2007–2018: models, laboratory work and biological collaboration

The 2007 self-affine-surface paper, the 2016 distributed-computing study and the 2018 VGTU conference paper develop the electromagnetic interaction model and experimental comparisons. Lukyanov is also a co-author of the 2018 rat chromosome-aberration paper, bringing the physical model into the biological investigation. 2022: the published semiconductor-response model

With Alexander Kopyltsov and Igor Serov, Lukyanov published a computer model of a semiconductor wafer with a self-affine surface pattern. The chapter appeared online in 2022 in Springer’s Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems. Read the study summary · Read the Springer chapter.

2026: direct infrared measurements

Lukyanov and Sergei Makarov examined a patterned silicon wafer during repeated heating and cooling. Infrared images show a distinct response in the etched region relative to the smooth periphery; the authors interpret this as higher emissivity of the patterned surface. The paper was published in the ICICT 2026 proceedings, LNNS 2029, pages 54–63. Read the experimental overview · Follow the emissivity analysis · Read the published paper · Author manuscript.
